First -- Next Spring 2009 Illumen is here - 2009-05-20 I just got my copy of the Spring 2009 issue of Illumen, which has a bunch of my work: 3 poems, a literary analysis article, and the cover design. Story accepted for NATURE magazine - 2009-05-20 Somehow I forgot to mention my biggest little sale to date: a story ("To All Sister Capsules") accepted for the one-page fiction feature at NATURE magazine. Yes, the big science journal. Very cool. "Pier one" appears - 2009-03-10 My mainstream poem "pier one" was a runner-up at an online poetry contest. A nice way to start a rainy Monday! First -- Next Other Info, rings & stuff Cool milestones: in 1997 I wrote my 200th story. And in 1999 I wrote my 500,000th word of short fiction. Half a million words, and my fingers are still going. The human body is quite a miraculous thing. You'd think I'd be tired by now.
